Nay Wa Mitego, born Emmanuel Elibariki Munisi, is a Tanzanian rapper and songwriter from Manzese, Dar es Salaam. Also known as Mr Nay and NayTrueboy, he is known for a direct lyrical style rooted in Tanzanian Hip-Hop and Bongo Flava. Over the years, Nay Wa Mitego has built an extensive catalogue of solo releases and collaborations, with songs including “Bachela,” “Mbele Kwa Mbele,” “Amkeni,” “Wapi Huko” and “Watu.” His music frequently combines storytelling and social commentary with contemporary Tanzanian Hip-Hop sounds.
