Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply when you use MuzikiGo. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use MuzikiGo.

The service

MuzikiGo is a music discovery and listening gateway for African music. We publish catalogue information — song, artist, album, genre and editorial chart pages — and link to legitimate third-party streaming services where that music can be heard.

Unless we state otherwise, MuzikiGo does not own the music listed on the site. Appearing in the MuzikiGo catalogue does not make MuzikiGo the owner of a recording, composition, artwork or trademark.

Playback and third-party services

Audio and video playback is provided through official services such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and SoundCloud, either through their own embedded players or by opening their site or app. MuzikiGo does not host, store, download, copy, cache, proxy or redistribute audio, and does not offer MP3 or other file downloads.

Nothing on MuzikiGo grants you a right to copy, download, redistribute, publicly perform or commercially exploit third-party music. Those rights belong to the rights holders and to the terms of the platform you listen on.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. MuzikiGo is not responsible for their availability, content, pricing or functionality, and a player or link may stop working if the provider changes or removes the content.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MuzikiGo lawfully. You must not:

  • attempt unauthorised access to the service, accounts, databases or administrative tools;
  • interfere with, disable or test the security of the service without permission;
  • scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the site in a way that abuses, overloads or disrupts it, or that republishes our catalogue as your own;
  • upload or distribute malicious code;
  • submit or promote infringing, unlawful, deceptive or abusive material;
  • misrepresent who you are or who you represent.

Submissions

When you send us music information through the Submit Your Music form, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you are the artist or are otherwise authorised to submit that information, artwork and those links.

Submitting does not transfer ownership of your music, artwork or brand to MuzikiGo. You keep your rights. You grant MuzikiGo the limited, non-exclusive permission reasonably necessary to review the submission and, if approved, to display and promote it on the MuzikiGo service and its related channels — for example showing the title, artist name, artwork, catalogue details and official streaming links. This permission ends when the material is removed from the service.

MuzikiGo is an editorial service. We may approve, reject, edit, correct, re-categorise, unpublish or remove catalogue or submitted material at our discretion, and we are not obliged to publish anything that is submitted.

Intellectual property

Music, artwork, artist names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. MuzikiGo's own name, branding, editorial writing, chart selections and site design belong to MuzikiGo and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Reporting a rights or accuracy concern

If you believe something on MuzikiGo infringes your rights, misattributes your work, or contains incorrect catalogue information, email info@muzikigo.com with the page link, a description of the issue and your relationship to the work. We review reports and will correct, unpublish or remove material where appropriate.

Changes to the service

MuzikiGo is under active development. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, pages or content at any time, and the service may be unavailable from time to time.

Disclaimers

MuzikiGo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep catalogue information accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the service or third-party players will be uninterrupted. Charts and rankings are editorial and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any streaming service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MuzikiGo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, from reliance on catalogue information, or from third-party services and links. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

[Owner review required] The governing law and the legal entity operating MuzikiGo have not been finalised and are intentionally left blank rather than assumed. This section should be completed with the operator's registered details and jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continued use of MuzikiGo after an update means you accept the revised terms.
