Ronze is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter known for blending Bongo Flava with Afro-Pop and contemporary African sounds. Born Rajah Mkufya, he emerged in Tanzania’s music scene with early releases including “Sawa,” “Chereko,” “Nikokote,” “Huruma” and “Alivyo.” His career gained further attention in 2020 when he joined Shishi Gang, becoming the label’s first signed artist. Ronze has continued building his catalogue through songs including “Popote,” “Dawa,” “Saa Ngapi?,” “Mapema,” “Mpe Pesa” and “Mi Amour.” His music also includes collaborations with Tanzanian artists such as Young Lunya, Moni Centrozone, Kusah, Mr Blue and Young Dee, reflecting his connection to the contemporary Bongo Flava scene.
