Harmonize Releases New Album ‘31’

Tanzanian Bongo Flava star, Harmonize has released his new album 31, a 14-track project that brings together his signature East African sound with collaborations from across the continent.

Released on September 4, 2026, the album marks another major chapter in Harmonize’s career. Across its 14 tracks, the Konde Music Worldwide founder works with artists from Tanzania and several other African music markets, giving the project a distinctly Pan-African character.

A Star-Studded African Collaboration

One of the biggest features of 31 is its extensive guest list.

Harmonize collaborates with Young Lunya on “For No Reason,” Wande Coal on “Beautiful Remix,” Marioo on “Tangazo,” and Ya Levis* on the romantic collaboration “I Do.”

The album also reunites Harmonize with fellow Tanzanian star Rayvanny on “Siwezi,” while Jay Melody appears on “Imeshindikana.”

Beyond Tanzania, the project expands further across the continent. Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau joins Harmonize on “Loser,” Nigerian stars Mayorkun and Qing Madi appear on “Bumpy Ride” and “Isondeze,” while Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy features on “Beer.”

“all Night” brings together Darkoo and Yemi Alade, before Harmonize closes the album with its title track, “31,” alongside Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan.

A Pan-African Direction for Harmonize

With 31, Harmonize continues to take Bongo Flava beyond Tanzania while maintaining strong connections to the East African music scene.

The guest list stretches from Tanzania and Kenya to Nigeria, Ghana, Central Africa and Egypt, bringing different voices and musical influences into one project.

Songs such as “I Do,” “Tangazo,” “Siwezi,” “For No Reason” and the title track demonstrate the collaborative approach at the centre of the album.

For Harmonize, 31 adds another full-length project to a catalogue that already includes albums such as Afro East, High School, Made For Us and Visit Bongo.

The album is now available on major music streaming platforms.
