About This Song
“Dunia” is a reflective 2021 song by Tanzanian singer Harmonize from his second studio album, High School. Sung in Swahili, the song finds Harmonize questioning the meaning of life, faith, death and the uncertainty of what comes after our time in the world. He reflects on how wealth and social status ultimately cannot prevent death and encourages people to avoid living with hatred while praying for a good ending. The philosophical subject matter makes “Dunia” one of the more introspective songs on High School. Shazam credits Harmonize as the songwriter.
