High School is the second studio album by Tanzanian singer and songwriter Harmonize, released in November 2021. The 20-track project expands his Bongo Flava and Afro-Pop sound while drawing on musical influences from across Africa and exploring themes including love, relationships, forgiveness, ambition and everyday life. The album features collaborations with Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Nigerian artist Naira Marley, South African performer Busiswa and Tanzanian artists Ibraah, Anjella and Sholo Mwamba. Songs including “Sorry,” “Outside,” “Why,” “Mdomo,” “Mood,” “Single,” “Sandakalawe” and “Teacher” showcase Harmonize moving between East African melodies, Afrobeats and other contemporary African sounds. Released through Konde Music Worldwide with distribution associated with Ziiki Media, High School followed Harmonize’s 2020 debut album Afro East and marked another major chapter in the development of his catalogue.
