Nioneshe

About This Song

“Nioneshe” is a 2022 love song by Tanzanian singer Maua Sama featuring Alikiba, released as the third track from her Cinema project. Blending Afro-Pop with Kizomba influences, the song brings together Maua Sama and Alikiba in a romantic duet centred on affection, intimacy and staying committed to one another despite outside interference. Maua Sama revealed that the song was reworked into a Kizomba-influenced arrangement after Alikiba chose “Nioneshe” for their collaboration. Their melodic vocal chemistry makes the track one of the standout collaborations on Cinema.
